About a year old, this beautiful Rottweiler/Doberman mix is still searching for the forever home she deserves. And honestly… we can’t believe she’s still waiting.
Janie has been through more than any young dog ever should, but she hasn’t let that take away her ability to love. She is sweet, goofy, playful, and so full of life. Once she feels comfortable with you, her personality truly starts to shine.

Janie is good with other dogs and even cats, and she does well in a home setting. She is crate trained and house-trained with regular outings. She can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but patience and kindness go a long way with this girl.
Now let’s talk about her energy level… because this girl is READY TO GO.

Janie is not the type of dog who wants to lay around all day long. She needs an active home that will keep both her mind and body busy. She would absolutely thrive with someone willing to:

Play fetch
Go on adventures
Continue working with her and helping her learn
She wants to be involved. She wants to have fun. She wants a person.
Because of her past, Janie does take food very seriously. She is not food aggressive, but she definitely thinks every snack belongs to her if given the opportunity so we are recommending a home with no small children.
