Some stories are harder to hear than others.
Sweet Rae was found tied up and wrapped around a tree. We dont know exactly how she ended up there, but its difficult to imagine she got herself into that situation alone. What we do know is that no dog deserves to be left behind, scared and alone.

Now Rae is safe with us, and despite everything shes been through, she is still trying so hard to trust.

This beautiful Cane Corso girl is around 3 years old and weighs approximately 65 pounds. Photos simply do not do her justice she is absolutely stunning in person. But what really stands out isnt her beauty... its the quiet hope in her eyes.
Rae is very timid and very shy. When you reach out to pet her, she instinctively cowers, as if shes expecting something she shouldnt have to fear. Yet she stays. She allows the affection. She wants to believe that people can be kind. She wants to trust so badly.

With patience, understanding, and a little confidence-building, we truly believe Rae is going to blossom into an incredible companion. Shes not looking for perfection. Shes looking for someone willing to show her that the world isnt as scary as it seems right now.

Every dog deserves a second chance. Rae deserves hers.
