DESCRIPTION

Hi, my name is Lemon! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Affectionate, silly, playful, a little shy at first.

-Can Live with Kids: Likely, yes- we have no history on how Lemon does with children, but seems like she'd be okay with gentle, respectful kids who can read/respect canine body language and give her space when she needs it. At this time we're recommending kids 10+.

-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, will need slow, supervised introduction.

-Can Live with Dogs: Lemon has tested well with other dogs in shelter and should be fine living with another dog of similar size/energy level! Any potential canine housemates will need to meet at WHS first to ensure they get along.

-Can do Apartment Living: Yes

-Potty Trained: Appears to be!

-Bite History: No

-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No

-Energy Level: Medium

-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Spay/microchip
-Additional Information: Lemon is an adorable, scruffy pup looking for her forever lap to curl up in. Lemon came to us as a stray so we don't know anything about her history; she was fairly reserved when she first arrived and can still be shy when meeting new people, but typically warms up very quickly and starts making friends in no time. Lemon is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, and would love a home that will shower her with all the love and attention she deserves! Regular brushing and grooming will help keep her looking and feeling her best.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
