JEFF BUCKLEY
Domestic Short Hair
🇺🇸
Bellingham, Washington
April 28th
male, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Hi, my name is Jeff Buckley! I'm a RED pawprint, which means I need an experienced home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Shy and timid at first. Once comfortable, Jeff is VERY talkative and loves slow head pets.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history. Slow supervised introductions to resident cats okay. Up to counselor discretion.
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history. No dogs for Jeff. Dogs might be too scary for him.
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history. Adult only home would be best for Jeff. He needs a slow pace and low traffic home.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Indoor with outdoor supervision okay
-History of Litter Box Issues: Jeff Buckley took about a week to get the hang of using a litter box. With a mixture of pellet, clay litter, and cat attract, he has been using his litter pan.
-Energy Level: Moderate
-Bite History: None
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter and MC.
Additional Information:
Jeff Buckley is shy and timid at first. New people and environments are overwhelming for him. He may take longer to adjust to his new people and home. Once he is comfortable, he enjoys talking and being pet slowly around his face. He can be touch sensitive around his neck. Jeff's favorite activity is to sit and look out the window. He loves to bird watch. Jeff Buckley came to the shelter as a stray, so much of his history is unknown. It took about three days for him to decompress and be comfortable with staff. He also took time to understand how to use the litter pan. With a mixture of pellet, clay litter, and cat attract, he has been using his litter pan. Jeff Buckley is looking for an adult only home, that is quiet, and low foot traffic. A slow transition into his new home would be best. Jeff Buckley is eager to meet his new family that he can bird watch with!
