Hi, our names are Ray and Rome! We are PURPLE pawprints, which means we will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for us in our new home:

-Personality: Ray and Rome can be shy and timid at first. New environments are overwhelming for them. Once comfortable, they are talkative and affectionate
-Can Live with Cats: Required to go home together. They could possibly be introduced to another feline friend.
-Can Live with Dogs: No thanks! Dogs are very scary for them
-Can Live with Kids: Teenaged + may be okay. Up to counselors discretion. They would prefer a quiet environment with consistent routine.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes, they have only been indoors. Outdoors may be overwhelming
-History of Litter Box Issues: Yes, they were surrendered due to eliminating outside the litter box with a new baby in the home. They have been consistently using their litter box at the shelter. Not using their litter box is likely due to stress of the new baby and change in routine.
-Energy Level: Moderate
-Bite History: None
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay and MC for Ray!

They would benefit from a slow introduction to the home and a consistent routine. They came to the shelter together and they are looking for a home together. Dogs are too scary for them and they will need to be in a home without dogs. They were both surrendered to the shelter for not using their litterbox. This was potentially stress-related due to the presence of a new baby in the home. At the shelter, they have been using their litterbox just fine. They would benefit from a quiet home that can provide a consistent routine. Ray and Rome are ready for their purr-ever home!
