**STILL IN FOSTER HOME!*** Hi, my name is Orion! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into most homes . Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, does well with resident dog in foster home. They play well together.
-Can do Apartment Living: Apartment life is not recommended
-Potty Trained: Working on it!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, a 6 week puppy course
-Energy Level: High!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter and microchip at whs
-Additional Information:
Meet Orion, this handsome pup came to the shelter as a stray, singleton puppy, who was pretty scared with all the chaos of shelter life. He went to a foster home to provide him a more comfortable home environment to grow up in. Orion is now very brave and social, he loves all people and animals that he meets. His favorite activity is playing with the resident adult dog in his foster home, they love a good romp with each other in their fenced yard. His foster parents have also done an amazing job with training Orion, so he does have a good head start. He will thrive with an adopter who can continue training him and be dedicated to enriching his life. Orion's foster mom tells us that he's really good around her cat and chickens, but would need to have continuous positive reinforcement to be able to keep up these good manners!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
