Lia
Found in the middle of the road… alone, scared, and unsure of the world around her. Thankfully, one of our incredible volunteers stopped, scooped her up, and made sure she got to safety.
And now… here she is.
Safe, cleaned up, and waiting.
Lia is a tiny little thing, about 12 pounds, around 3–4 years old, and we believe she’s a miniature schnauzer mix.
She recently had a much-needed spa day, and while she’s looking absolutely adorable on the outside… her heart is still catching up.
The shelter is loud.
It’s overwhelming.
And for a girl like Lia, it’s scary. You’ll often find her tucked in, quiet, just taking it all in.
But when you move slowly… when you give her a moment… you see it, those soft eyes, that gentle soul, that sweetness just waiting to feel safe again. 🤍
She doesn’t need much… just a calm, patient home where she can finally exhale. Someone who will show her that the world isn’t so scary after all. Someone who will give her the love and affection she’s been missing.
We would love nothing more than to see Lia’s story turn into a happy ending, one where she’s curled up on a couch instead of sitting in a kennel.
If you think you could be that person for her, please click the link in the comments to submit an adoption application to:

A team member will be in touch within 24–48 hours to schedule a meet & greet.
Let’s get this tiny girl out of the noise… and into a home where she belongs.
