#Milo
18-20lbs
Since being in our care, Milo has been…
easy to handle
able to be picked up and carried around
happy to hang out with our volunteers
calm enough for photos and attention
definitely timid and shy , but that’s to be expected here in this scary shelter …
No snapping. No lunging. No “don’t come near me.”
Just a little guy who… if we’re being honest… probably had to act tough at some point in his life.
And when you read the rest of his story, it makes sense
Thrown away.
Found in a trash can.
Neglected..
He’s showing us he’s ready to leave that life behind.
About 4 years old
Jack Russell / Chihuahua mix (aka “taco terrier” )
Loves being warm (hoodie boy )
Takes his yard patrol duties very seriously
Loves toys… especially the kind he can “destroy”
He has lived with other animals before (a black lab and possibly cats), but we will always recommend proper meet & greets.
At this time, we are recommending older, respectful children so we can continue setting him up for success in a calm, understanding home.
What Milo needs now isn’t a warning label…
He needs a chance.
A real home.
A safe place.
A family that won’t give up on him.
Let’s get this boy out of the stress of the shelter and into the life he deserves.
