Max - Goldendoodle and Great Dane Dog for Adoption in Dysart, Iowa

PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION

MAX IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR IOWA CITY, IOWA.

Max is an approximately 9-month-old Goldendoodle/Great Dane mix who came to us as an owner surrender along with his siblings. He is now settling into foster care and showing everyone just how goofy, lovable, and fun he can be.

Max loves people, dogs, cats, treats, and spending time outside, especially if his people are out there with him. He is very social and seems happiest when he is included in whatever is going on. He also has a funny side and is still figuring out some of the world around him, including apparently being a little suspicious of his own shadow on nighttime walks.

Max is potty trained and has had zero accidents in his foster home so far. He is currently working on crate training and is learning what “kennel” means. He may whine a little at first, but he settles quickly. He is also working on leash manners and can be a little all over the place, but he is doing well and continues to improve.

Max does well with dogs, cats, and children. He is very treat motivated, which should make continued training a lot of fun. He is currently working on learning “sit” and will benefit from a family willing to continue helping him build his skills with consistency and positive reinforcement.

Max is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.

If you’re interested in giving Max the forever home he deserves, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering adoption!
