Brewster - Hound and Beagle Dog for Adoption in Dysart, Iowa

BREWSTER IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR DECORAH, IOWA.

Brewster is a Hound/Beagle mix who came to us after we stepped in to help a fellow small rescue in rural Oklahoma that simply did not have the resources to continue caring for him. He is now safe in foster care and ready to find a family of his own.

Brewster is a sweet, curious boy with a gentle personality. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he really enjoys being close to his people. He loves cuddling, getting affection, going for walks, exploring the yard, and curling up on the couch. He does not seem overly interested in toys so far, but he definitely appreciates a good bone.

Brewster is potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is still settling in, so his foster is continuing to learn more about him, including what commands he may already know.

Brewster does well with other dogs and children. He has a nice balance of curiosity and calm companionship and would make a great fit for someone looking for a loving dog who enjoys both getting outside and relaxing at home.

Brewster is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.

Since most of our animals are found as strays or come to us with limited history, we cannot guarantee breed or age. Breed and age are determined based on our experience and veterinarian guidance.
