BABY BIRD IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR WATERLOO, IOWA.

Baby Bird is one of eleven Black and Tan Coonhound/Lab mix puppies born to Birdie, a stray who was found wandering in Union, Iowa. Someone in the community was able to slowly gain Birdie’s trust and reached out to our rescue for help. Shortly after coming into our care, Birdie gave birth to her puppies safely in foster care.

Baby Bird is a sweet little girl who still has a special love for her mama. She enjoys being close to Birdie and has a gentle, affectionate personality beginning to emerge.

At only about 6 1/2 weeks old, Baby Bird is still very much growing into who she is, but so far she is proving to be a sweet girl who loves the comfort of those she trusts.

Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce her to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to her development!

Baby Bird will be adopted under a spay contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of spay. She is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
