BO IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CORALVILLE/IOWA CITY, IOWA.

Bo is a young Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who was dumped at a groomer in a small Oklahoma town along with his sister, Daisy. He is now safe in foster care and ready to find a family of his own.

Bo is a happy, friendly, loving puppy who enjoys being around people, playing with toys, spending time outside, and staying close to his person. His foster describes him as an easy keeper with a really sweet temperament. He is not overly barky or nippy and is just a charming little guy who is easy to love.

Bo is crate trained and may fuss for a minute or two before settling. Interestingly, if he can see his people, he may take a little longer to relax because he would much rather be with them. He is also working on potty training and basic commands including “sit,” “kennel,” and “leave it.” He walks well on a leash and is continuing to learn every day.

Bo has done well with his sister and other dogs he was around at the groomer. He can be a little unsure when larger dogs bark at him through a fence, which is understandable for a young puppy. At his age, he is still very impressionable and should be able to integrate well with other dogs through proper introductions and continued socialization.

Adoption Information: All puppies have typical energy levels and require a dedicated adopter who is willing to invest time and effort into training. While we strive to start the potty-training process, please keep in mind that puppies this age are not guaranteed to be fully house trained. This is an excellent age to introduce him to children and other animals, as early socialization is key to his development!

Bo will be adopted under a neuter contract, with an adoption fee of $500. $100 of this fee will be reimbursed upon proof of neuter. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.

If you’re interested in giving Bo the forever home he deserves, please complete our adoption application linked below. Thank you for considering adoption!
