Cocoa Bean is a 12 year old, 37-pound mixed breed with a playful spirit and a smile thats impossible to resist. This handsome guy came to Canine Collective from Kentucky and has been charming everyone he meets ever since.
With his rich chocolate coat, speckled chest, and bright, friendly eyes, Cocoa Bean is as unique as he is lovable. As for his breed? Well we did what any modern rescue would do we asked AI. The verdict: cattle dog meets chocolate lab! The sturdy build and speckling say heeler, while that sweet expression and warm brown coloring lean lab. Is it official? Who knows but it fits him perfectly.
Cocoa Bean loves to play and does especially well with other dogs in fact, he seems to have a bit of a soft spot for the ladies. Hes also a proud graduate of our North Central Correctional Institution Dog Obedience Program, which means he comes with a great foundation of manners and is eager to keep learning.
