Tiff is a 1-year-old Shiba Inu/Chihuahua mix weighing in at a perfect 21 lbs of adorable sass and sweetness. This little lady is potty trained, picking up new tricks quickly, and proving that brains and beauty really can come together!

Tiff loves making new friends and is having the best time playing with her furry buddies at her foster home. She's friendly with both people and dogs, and her charming personality makes it hard not to fall in love with her.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.

Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. ***Take Paws Rescue, based in New Orleans, saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

The Shiba Inu is a small to medium sized dog breed known for its fox like appearance, with a curled tail and upright ears. Originating from Japan, Shiba Inus are independent, alert, and spirited dogs. They are loyal to their families but can be reserved around strangers. Recognized for their bold and confident nature, Shiba Inus require consistent training and socialization to thrive. With a thick double coat and a distinct red, sesame, or black and tan coloration, Shiba Inus are charming companions for active individuals or families.
