DESCRIPTION

Muffin is a cute 2-year old female American Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler who was brought to the HSOV on May 21st 2026 after she was found in Devola Ohio (exact location is unknown).

This little sweetheart has a white coat with blue ticking and large patches of black, a long tail, and a beautiful symmetrically-marked Blue Heeler face with brown 'teddy bear' eyes, a slender muzzle, and extra-large erect ears.

These outdoor photos of Muffin were taken on May 28th 2026 when HSOV Kennel Tech Abilene Laskowski accompanied Muffin for updated pictures. Muffin was a delight to photograph and to watch as she explored new territory and sniffed around the green grassy area.

This little dollbaby has the sweetest, most affectionate personality. Muffin tends to be a bit shy at first but, within a few minutes, she is your new best friend.

Muffin attended an off-site event at the Farmer's Market in Marietta Ohio on the morning of May 30th and, according to reliable sources, she was definitely a social butterfly who knew instinctively how to 'work the crowd' (smile). The volunteer who accompanied Muffin to the event also told us that she was a very good girl who enjoyed the car ride.

Muffin weighs 35 lbs and is a rather petite young lady when you see her in person. She walks fairly well on a leash.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Muffin was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family would have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Sadly, nobody called or came looking for this sweet young lady.

Since she was not reclaimed, Muffin is now available for foster-to-adopt while she awaits her spay procedure. She can be officially adopted after she is spayed (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized).
