Jimmy Chew - Poodle Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Jimmy Chew is a magnificent 1-1/2 year old male Poodle/Doodle mix who was brought to the HSOV on August 20th 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Muskingum Drive in Marietta Ohio. Jimmy Chew was wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog license tag ... And he was not microchipped.

Jimmy Chew has a beautiful white curly-haired coat, a long tail, and an adorable Doodle face with dark brown eyes, a black button nose, and long floppy ears which are covered in curls.

Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Jennie Payton Sherrard for accompanying Jimmy Chew for outdoors photos on the evening of August 20th. Jimmy was quite the gentleman and appears to have a very sweet personality .. And he also seemed to be ok with other dogs.

Jimmy Chew weighs 64 lbs and walked well on a leash for Jennie.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Jimmy Chew will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family will have the opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Surely someone is frantically searching for this young man.
