Garden (Photos July 16th 2026) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Garden is a beautiful 3-1/2 year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on May 6th 2026 with her five kittens (Cucumbers, Leek, Parsnip, Tomatoes, and Turnip). Garden's kittens were tiny 2-week old babies at that time.

Garden was a loving mother to her kittens but, sadly, three of her babies (Cucumbers, Leek and Tomatoes) passed away within a few days of their arrival. Kittens Parsnip and Turnip were the sole survivors and were raised to be happy youngsters. Parsnip and Turnip have remained with momma Garden and have never been separated from her.

This little dollbaby has a black-and-white shorthaired coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark golden eyes, a pink nose, a cute black 'goatee' on her chin, and long white whiskers.

Garden was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on May 8th 2026. She was given booster vaccines on June 10th 2026.

Garden is sharing a triple-wide cage in The Jungle Room with her two kittens. Turnip is the more quiet sibling who would rather be with his mother (who is also very quiet/relaxed). Little sister Parsnip has a 'Type A' outgoing personality and is the self-appointed activities director of the family (smile).

These photos of Garden were taken on July 16th 2026. Garden has the sweetest, most lovable personality. She remained cool, calm, and relaxed while she had her glamour photos taken. Garden remained close to kitten Turnip and kept a watchful eye on him

Update: Kitten Parsnip was spayed on August 3rd 2026 and was adopted by a wonderful family on August 4th. They also adopted another HSOV kitten (Louise) that day .. We're happy that Parsnip and Louise will each have a new best friend/playmate in their new home.

Momma Garden and Turnip are still together and will be spayed/neutered in the near future (tentatively on September 14th 2026) .. And they will be ready to find a fabulous home (hopefully together) .. But if Turnip is adopted by himself, please remember that momma Garden also deserves the best home ever.
