Sprinkles (Spayed) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Sprinkles is a beautiful 2-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on May 8th 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Ohio Boulevard in Marietta Ohio. Sprinkles was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.

Sprinkles has a shiny black short-haired coat, a long tail, and a pretty face with dark golden/orange eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers. Sprinkles' black coat is sprinkled with tiny white hairs (which is a clue as to how she was given the name Sprinkles).

This adorable miniature house panther is good with other cats, dogs, and children. Sprinkles is a good conversationalist who loves to talk, and she is a wanna-be lap kitty.

Sprinkles was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on May 8th 2026. She weighed 7.1 lbs that day. Sprinkles was given booster vaccines on June 10th 2026.

HSOV Lead Feline Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton provided this information about Sprinkles on a recent HSOV Facebook post:

"Sprinkles is agile and likes to be up high, so a tall cat tree would be like heaven to her! She does pretty good with other cats and dogs, she lived in our intake room as a free-roaming cat for awhile. Sprinkles does not like it when other cats fight and will swiftly put an end to any altercation ... so she would probably do best with a cat that won't challenge her queen bee status

Sprinkles is super playful and just as affectionate, if you sit down she's almost immediately in your lap."

Sprinkles was spayed on May 18th 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Sprinkles is currently enjoying a triple high cat tower in the lobby of our shelter and is ready to begin interviewing candidates who would like to apply for the lifetime position as her new family.
