Radar (Photos August 20th 2026) - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Marietta, Ohio

Radar is a cute 3-month old male small mixed breed puppy who was brought to the HSOV on August 18, 2026 by an individual who found him on State Route 60 in Washington County Ohio (no specific location was provided). Radar was not wearing a collar or any form of identification to enable us to locate his family. This little boy was much too young to be by himself.

Radar has a shiny black shorthaired coat with a large patch of white on his chest, white paws, a long tail with a white tip on the end, and a beautiful puppy face with dark brown eyes, a teeny tiny slender muzzle, and large semi-erect ears.

Thanks to HSOV Executive Director Amy Rogers and HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Lynn for taking Radar under their angel wings and making sure that he knows he is loved, safe, and in good hands Amy and Tracy also helped Radar pose for his 'big boy' pictures after closing time on August 20th 2026.

Radar is very petite and weighs just 5 lbs.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Radar was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Surprisingly, nobody has called or came looking for him as of mid-afternoon on August 21st 2026.

If Radar is not reclaimed, he will be available as a foster/foster-to-adopt with an approved HSOV foster adoption application. You may submit an application at any time either in person or on our www.hsov.org website.

Radar will be neutered before he can be officially adopted.
