Petunia - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in South Burlington, Vermont

Meet Petunia!

Petunia came into our care when her previous owner was unable to continue caring for her. This friendly lap cat is looking for a new best friend to spend lots of time together. She loves to crawl up on her favorite person for cuddles.

She has been through some change lately, but through it all has been resilient, adaptable and remains willing to be open to making new friends. Now that she's ready to meet adopters, she hopes that you come in soon to fall in love. She is a social girl that will soon make herself an integral part of your family - surely you'll wonder how you got along without her. As she settles in, you'll begin to learn her preferences and set a routine together that will bring out her very best qualities.

Having a set-up that includes cat trees and other elevated surfaces increases the living space available for a cat and gives them extra opportunities for climbing, perching, and surveying the kingdom! Providing ample indoor enrichment will be essential to them being able to exhibit healthy cat behavior indoors, such as playing, climbing and scratching.

Cats: Petunia has no known experience living with other cats
Dogs: Petunia has done well living with a cat-savvy dog in her previous home.
Children: Petunia has no known experience interacting with children.
