Nala presses her cheek into the front of her kennel and drags her whole side along the bars, then turns around and does the other side, and she keeps going until somebody reaches in.
She is an adult female orange tabby with a white chin and chest, pale green eyes, and whiskers so long they fan out well past her cheeks. She came to us as an owner surrender, so she is used to living in a home, and she is spayed.
Nala is a very affectionate cat. She comes to the front to greet people before they have even said hello, and once you put a hand in, she pushes her head up into it. Find the spot under her chin and she tips her whole face up and half closes her eyes. She is grown, so what you see is what you get, and what you see is a cat who wants to be wherever the people are. She is also cat friendly, so she can go to a home that already has a cat. She would suit someone who wants a cat that comes to find them.
Being honest about what we do not know. We cannot tell you how Nala does with dogs or children, so we would take either of those introductions at home slowly.
We prefer to schedule appointments for meet and greets to make sure someone is available to spend time with you. The shelter is open Monday through Friday, 12pm to 4pm, and appointments outside of those hours may be available based on volunteer availability.
