Meet Sooty! With his soft grey-and-white coat and enchanting green eyes, Sooty is one handsome boy with a vibrant purrsonality that is impossible not to love. Friendly, confident, and social, Sooty has happily stepped into the role as the official greeter of his room and is always the first to say hello to visitors. Sooty is 4.5 years old and was surrendered for inappropriate peeing and spraying in his previous home. Since coming into our care, he has settled in well and we have not seen this behavior. It may have been related to the presence of outdoor cats in the area and changes in the home, such as the arrival of a new baby.

Affectionate and people-oriented, Sooty enjoys attention and pets, but he is also independent. Sooty is an active, curious little explorer who loves investigating his surroundings, chasing bugs, and bird watching from a sunny perch. Sooty would love to find a furrever home where he can be part of the flow of everyday life. He would prefer a home with no other cats, but has lived with dogs before and gets along great with his doggo friends. Sooty is in great overall health.
