Meet Riptide, a young tabby with soft eyes and striking markings who was trapped as a stray alongside his siblings. With little early experience around people, he was understandably quite frightened when he first arrived with us. However, with time, patience, and plenty of love from our volunteers, Riptide is beginning to relax, build confidence, and let his friendly, sweet nature shine through more each day.

Riptide can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe and gets to know you, he warms up quickly and happily leans in for gentle pets. At just 1 year old, Riptide has all the curiosity, youthful energy, and playful spirit of a young boy discovering the world around him. Riptide would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where he can take things at his own pace, supported by patience and gentle encouragement as he continues to blossom. He is healthy and has excellent litter box manners. Riptide is a sweet, loving boy who is waiting for someone to see past his initial shyness.
