Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Maple Ridge, British Columbia

Dapper is 6–7 years old and came into our care after struggling to get along with another cat. He found himself a new home, but sadly, it just was not the right fit for him. Now, he is back with us and ready for a fresh start with a family who understands his quirky purrsonality and can provide him with the environment he needs to really shine!

Dapper is a friendly, sociable boy who likes to be with people. While he certainly enjoys some lazy time and cat naps, he is happiest when there is lots of action around him—and where he can be right in the middle of it all (or occasionally help create it!). As the day winds down, Dapper shows his softer, affectionate side. He loves nothing more than curling up close for some quiet bedtime snuggles with you. He would do well in a home where people are around a lot to interact with him, and would be a good fit with older children. While Dapper does not have any conflict with his shelter roommates, given his history with other cats, we feel he will be happiest as a solo kitty. Dapper has no known health concerns, and while he has had a few litter box mishaps in the past, he has shown no issues during his time in the shelter.

Dapper is ready to find his furrever home where he can be part of daily life, join in the fun, and end each day curled up close to his people.
