He may be called Pickle Jar, but this handsome grey tabby with mesmerizing green eyes is 100% sweet and 0% sour! Pickle Jar is only 1 year old but already quite the world traveller, having come all the way from the Cayman Islands to find his happily ever after. And he didn’t waste any time stealing hearts either, getting adopted the very same day he arrived! Unfortunately, through no fault of his own or his adopters, it wasn’t the right fit, and Pickle Jar is now back with us, hoping for a second chance at finding his purrfect forever home.

Pickle Jar is a friendly, gentle, and affectionate boy who enjoys being close to his people. He would be a wonderful addition to many types of homes, including those with children. Companionship is very important to Pickle Jar, so he will need either a social, cat-friendly feline friend or adopters who are home regularly and able to spend plenty of time with him. Pickle Jar is healthy and has excellent litter box manners. He is FIV+, which makes him eligible for our Permanent Foster Program. This means we will cover all of his medical expenses for life, as long as he is taken to one of our veterinarians in Maple Ridge. We’re happy to provide more details when you come in to meet him.
