Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Maple Ridge, British Columbia

At 19 years old, beautiful Myrtle may be a proud senior, but she still carries the graceful confidence of a true queen, and she will find her way into your heart the moment you meet her! She was surrendered to us after her owner had to move into care, and sadly, no family members were able to take her in. Myrtle is a gentle, sweet-natured gal with so much love left to share. It is heartbreaking to think of her spending her golden years in the shelter, and we are hoping someone will open their heart and home to her. Myrtle is a wonderful companion, and she deserves to spend her remaining time in a peaceful, loving paradise where she is cherished every day.

Myrtle is friendly and affectionate, and she loves people and attention. She never turns down a pet, cheek scritch, or a head kiss, and will happily lean in for more every time. Myrtle would be happiest in a smaller sized calm, quiet adult-only home where life moves at a slow, gentle pace. While she loves people, other cats are not her cup of tea, and she will need to be your one and only fur baby. Myrtle is healthy and still full of spirit, but being at a golden age, she is eligible for our Permanent Foster Program. This means that we will cover all of Myrtle’s medical bills for life, provided she is taken to one of our Veterinarians in Maple Ridge.
