Peachy - Pigeon Bird for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Hi, I’m Peachy! I’m a sweet girl with beautiful soft gray feathers and a personality that’s even prettier! I arrived at the rescue with a scalped head, but thankfully I’m healing normally and am otherwise healthy. I’m doing wonderfully and am well on my way to putting that rough chapter behind me.

There is just one little problem: I am very, very friendly, which makes me surprisingly difficult to photograph! ;-) Every time someone tries to take my picture, I’d much rather walk right over to them and say hello. Sitting still is overrated when there are people around who might give me some attention!

I’m curious, social, and always ready to see what’s happening. My pretty gray feathers make me quite the looker, but I think my friendly personality is what really makes me special. I’ve been through a difficult experience, and I’m so happy to just be somewhere safe where I can heal and be myself.

Now I’m ready to find a forever home where my humans will appreciate my affectionate nature and all the little moments of companionship I have to offer.
