The Coorati Kid came into rescue with what's presumed to be a spinal injury, and so far nobody has convinced him it should slow him down. He flies just fine. On foot he's a little wonky, with a lean and a wobble to his walk, like a kid who learned his stances from a worn-out VHS tape and never quite nailed the footwork.
What he did master is the wing slap. Reach in to clean his cage and you'll get the full routine: a sharp wing to the hand, plus a running commentary of indignant coos. Wax on, wax off, and he will fight you on both.
Then you pick him up, and the act falls apart. Once he's actually in your hands, the Kid goes calm and easy, and his foster mom Devin reports he's very cooperative when it's time to put on his pants. He's looking for a sensei with a sense of humor and a patient hand at cleanup time. He'll test you first. Pass, and he's all yours!
