Bubba - Yorkie Poo Dog for Adoption in Lafayette, California

Meet Bubba, the sweetest 3 1/2-year-old Yorkie Terrier mix weighing about 14 pounds.

Bubba is a happy-go-lucky little guy who seems to like just about everyone he meets. He is dog friendly, kid friendly and even does well with cats, making him an easy addition to many different types of homes.

He isn’t a super high-energy or playful dog, and honestly, that’s part of his charm. Bubba is much more interested in being close to his people, soaking up the sunshine, going for his regular walks and tagging along for the ride. He absolutely loves car rides and is perfectly content just going with the flow wherever the day takes you.

Bubba is affectionate without being demanding and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a smaller dog who is past the crazy puppy stage. Even better, he is already house trained and crate trained and is considered low shedding.

Bubba does have a minor luxating patella in his rear leg. He has been evaluated, it is not currently painful or interfering with his quality of life, and surgical repair has not been recommended at this time. We simply want his future family to be aware so they can continue to monitor it with their veterinarian throughout his life.

Sadly, Bubba came to us after his previous family was moving and could not take him along. Now he’s ready for the part of his story where he finds a family who will never have to leave him behind again.
