At approximately 6 years old and 43 pounds, Shayla is the perfect age and size for someone looking for a calm, well-balanced companion.

Shayla came to us as a stray from Californias Central Valley. While we dont know what circumstances led her there, its clear she hasnt let her past define her. She greets each day with a gentle spirit, a wagging tail, and a quiet appreciation for the simple things in life.

She is sweet, affectionate, intelligent, and wonderfully easygoing. Shayla enjoys leisurely walks, lounging in the sunshine, rolling in the grass, and accompanying her people on car rides. Shes the kind of dog who is happy to join you on an adventure but equally content relaxing by your side afterward.

Unlike many Huskies, Shayla isnt much of a talker and has a wonderfully calm demeanor. She gets along well with both dogs and cats, making her an excellent addition to a variety of households. She is not a high-energy dog and would be happiest in a home that appreciates her relaxed, go-with-the-flow personality.

Shayla is doing great with both house training and crate training and has proven herself to be a respectful, well-mannered house guest. Her beautiful medium-length coat will require regular brushing to keep it looking its best, but she happily accepts the extra attention.

Her ideal home is one that will cherish the incredible dog she already is—a loyal companion, a walking buddy, a couch companion, and a devoted friend.
