Meet Benny, the biggest boy in Mama Indy’s adorable litter!
Benny is a gorgeous golden-brown puppy with subtle brindle highlights running through his coat, but it’s his personality that really makes him stand out. He is the biggest of the litter and quite possibly has the biggest personality too.
This boy is super spunky, confident, playful and LOVES to rumble. Wrestling with his siblings is one of his favorite activities, and he’s always ready to jump into the middle of the action. Benny is fun, silly, curious and full of that larger-than-life puppy energy that keeps you laughing.
Mama Indy is a small Beagle mix weighing around 14 pounds, and Dad is completely unknown. Benny is the largest of his siblings, so we suspect he may end up a little bigger than some of the others, but breed and adult size are always our best guess with rescue puppies.
Benny was born in our care and has spent his first eight weeks safely growing up with his mama and siblings. Now he’s ready to find a family who will continue giving him everything he needs to grow into an amazing adult dog.
At only eight weeks old, Benny is still a complete infant and comes with absolutely no training. He is not house trained, crate trained or leash trained. His new family needs to be ready for potty accidents, puppy teeth, training, socialization, supervision and all the chaos that comes with raising a baby dog. Puppies are a full-time job, and Benny is definitely looking for someone ready to embrace the entire experience.
Because he is still completing his puppy vaccine series, Benny cannot safely be on public shared surfaces for approximately the next eight weeks. His adopter will need a safe plan for potty training, exercise and socialization during this important developmental stage.
Benny’s ideal family will have a house with a securely fenced backyard, a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to training and raising him. Another friendly, playful and well-socialized dog would be ideal, especially for a boy who loves to rumble as much as Benny does.
If you’re looking for a mellow little couch potato, Benny probably isn’t your guy. But if you want a hilarious, confident, rough-and-tumble puppy with a huge personality and a whole lot of love to give, Benny might be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.
