Meet Coco, the only all-black puppy in Mama Indy’s adorable litter!
Coco was born in our care and has been lucky enough to spend his first eight weeks of life safe, loved and surrounded by his mama and siblings. Mama Indy is about 14 pounds, and while we have no idea who Dad was, Coco is currently around 5 pounds. Our best guess is that he may be around 15 pounds full grown, but as with all rescue puppies, adult size is never guaranteed.
Coco is a super fun, happy and playful little guy who is always ready to see what’s happening. He has plenty of puppy energy, loves interacting with his siblings and is at that hilarious age where everything is new and worth investigating.
But behind that adorable little face is still a complete infant. Coco is only eight weeks old and comes with absolutely no training. He is not house trained, leash trained or crate trained yet. His new family needs to be prepared for potty training, puppy teeth, interrupted schedules, socialization, training and all the work that comes along with raising a baby dog.
Because Coco is still completing his puppy vaccine series, he cannot safely be on public shared surfaces for approximately the next eight weeks. His adopter will need to have a safe plan for potty breaks, exercise and socialization during this important stage of his development.
Coco’s ideal family will live in a house with a securely fenced backyard, have a flexible schedule and be ready to dedicate plenty of time to raising and training a puppy. Another friendly, well-socialized dog in the home would be a huge bonus and could help him continue learning the ropes.
Coco may be tiny today, but adopting a puppy is a big commitment. We’re looking for a family who is ready for all the work, chaos, laughter and love that comes with raising one.
If you’re ready for the full puppy experience and want a fun little shadow to grow up by your side, Coco might be your perfect match.
Adoption fee is 500
