Meet Oreo, one of just two girls in Mama Indy’s adorable litter!
Oreo might have some of the cutest markings of the bunch. She is black and white with the most perfect little mustache, paired with an adorably short, stocky, long-and-low body that makes her impossible not to smile at.
Mama Indy is a small Beagle mix weighing around 14 pounds, and we do not know who Dad was. Based on Oreo’s size and build today, we expect her to remain a smaller dog, likely somewhere around 15 pounds full grown, but adult size and breed are always our best guess with rescue puppies.
Oreo is a happy, social and playful little girl who loves romping around with her siblings and exploring everything around her. She has that wonderful combination of sweetness, curiosity and puppy spunk.
At only eight weeks old, Oreo is still a complete infant and comes with absolutely no training. She is not house trained, crate trained or leash trained yet. Her new family needs to be prepared for everything that comes with raising a puppy: potty training, puppy teeth, supervision, socialization, consistency and plenty of patience.
Because Oreo is still completing her puppy vaccine series, she cannot safely be on public shared surfaces for approximately the next eight weeks. Her adopter will need a safe space for potty training, exercise and socialization during this important stage.
Her ideal home is a house with a securely fenced backyard, a flexible schedule and people who have the time and commitment to raise a young puppy. Another friendly, well-socialized dog would be a wonderful bonus.
Oreo was lucky enough to be born into rescue, which means she has never had to experience the uncertainty that so many of our dogs have. Now our job is to make sure she never does.
If you’re ready for the full puppy experience and think a short, stocky little girl with a perfect mustache belongs in your family, Oreo is ready to meet you.
Adoption fee is 550
