Meet Beau Boy
Beau Boy is a 1-year-old, roughly 40-pound Lab mix who has interpreted "young adulthood" as permission to become a full-time recreational department.
He is neutered, house trained, crate trained, wonderful with dogs and cats, and absolutely adores children of all ages. Beau does not merely tolerate kids. He appears to have selected them as his preferred demographic.
His energy level is gloriously adolescent. He loves long walks, tearing around the yard, playing fetch, chewing on an impressive inventory of toys and bones, and generally participating in anything that qualifies as an activity. A single-family home with a physical fence will suit him best, because Beau has considerable enthusiasm and would like proper acreage for conducting it.
Then, in a delightful collapse of logic, this athletic 40-pound creature becomes convinced he is a lap dog. Sofa? Excellent. Cuddling? Mandatory. Being held like a much smaller animal? Beau sees no reason to involve mathematics.
He is also working on one remaining area of personal development: not eating absolutely everything in sight. Beau considers the world a buffet with confusing signage, so his future family should be prepared to continue helping him distinguish "chew toy" from "object that has somehow existed peacefully in this house for years."
He is playful, affectionate, exuberant, deeply loving, and such a genuinely good boy. Give him kids to adore, a yard to patrol, toys to demolish, walks to investigate, and a sofa sturdy enough to accommodate his delusions of lap-sized grandeur.
Beau Boy is not looking for a sedentary lifestyle.
He is looking for playmates with furniture privileges.

Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as our website, Chewy, Pet Finder, and others. These are in no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed.
