Ronan 2 - Yellow Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Killingworth, Connecticut

HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt). Please use our official website rather than the Petfinder "Start your Inquiry" button.

Ronan #2 is a handsome young yellow Lab who will celebrate his first birthday in November and currently weighs 52 pounds. He is a sibling to Myles and Huxley, and like his brothers, Ronan is just beginning a brand-new chapter in his life.

At not quite a year old, Ronan is still very much a youngster. He has plenty of growing, learning, playing, and exploring ahead of him — all the things a young Lab should be doing!

We are still getting to know Ronan, so we can’t tell you everything about him just yet. What we can tell you is that this beautiful boy deserves a family willing to give him the time and opportunity to discover what being a beloved family dog is all about.

Ronan will benefit from a family that understands young Labs and is prepared to provide exercise, consistency, patience, and continued training. At only 52 pounds, he is a nice size now, although he may still fill out a little as he matures.

For Ronan, so many of life’s simple pleasures may still be waiting to be discovered — a favorite toy, a comfy bed, adventures with his people, maybe a swim or two, and that wonderful feeling of knowing that he is finally home.

Ronan’s first birthday is right around the corner. Wouldn’t finding his forever family be the perfect way to celebrate?
