1.5 years old 13 lbs Wirehaired Terrier Mix

Cash may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give this sweet little guy a moment and he'll quietly work his way right into your lap... and your heart.

This scruffy cutie is the definition of a gentle soul. He's calm, affectionate, and happiest curled up next to his people soaking in love and attention. Cash seems to be both house trained and kennel trained, and he's been friendly with dogs so far. We think he'd do well with kids, too! He hasn't officially met cats yet, but based on his easygoing personality, we think he'd likely be just fine.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.

***Take Paws Rescue, based in New Orleans, saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!
