DESCRIPTION
Meet Bandit (fka Felix)
Bandit is an almost 3-year-old Retriever/Shepherd mix weighing about 65 pounds. He's neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and both house trained and crate trained. Bandit knows his basic commands and has been a well-loved family dog since he was adopted as an 8-week-old puppy.
Through no fault of his own, Bandit is being returned to Take Paws. His family's work schedules have changed, requiring them to be away from home for extended periods, and they can no longer give him the time, structure, and attention he deserves.
Bandit is great with people, kids, other dogs, and even cats. True to his Shepherd side, he is loyal and protective of his family. He may be a bit cautious when meeting new people, taking a little time to assess the situation, but once he understands someone is a friend, he warms up and settles in comfortably.
He would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family and enjoy consistent companionship. With his solid foundation of training and his loving, devoted nature, Bandit is ready to make a wonderful companion for a family who can give him the time and stability he deserves. He currently lives with young children and does well with them.
If you're looking for a loyal, smart, and well-rounded dog to join your home, Bandit may be your perfect match.
