At just 1 year old and 14 pounds, this adorable Chihuahua is the perfect mix of sweet, spunky, and snuggly. Llama Lou is as friendly as they come-she loves everyone she meets, whether they have two legs or four! Dogs, cats, and humans alike are all instant friends in her world.

Don't let her small size fool you-this girl has a whole lot of love to give. She's happiest being close to her people, whether that's riding shotgun on adventures or curling up beside you for some quality cuddle time.

Llama Lou is also the total package when it comes to manners-she's both crate trained and house trained, making her an easy addition to just about any home.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.

***Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!
