Meet Chewie
1 year old 45 lbs Doodle Mix

"Literally the perfect dog." - and honestly... we agree.

Chewie is a sweet, gentle doodle mix who was saved from a rural shelter and has been winning hearts ever since. At just 1 year old, he's the perfect blend of playful energy and calm affection.

He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but give him a minute and he'll be right by your side, soaking up attention and offering cuddles. Once he warms up, Chewie is incredibly loving, loyal, and easy to be around.

Chewie is fully potty trained and crate trained, and he has excellent house manners. He does great with his foster's resident dog and loves to play, but he's just as happy settling in for snuggles. He's gentle by nature, always ready for a scratch, a treat, or just to be near his people.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
