Surprisingly Reasonable for Someone With Those Ears
Pippa is a tiny little pup with enormous ears, tiny feet, and the general demeanor of someone who has never once felt the need to make a scene. Which is surprising, because she’s a puppy.
Most puppies approach life like they’ve just escaped from somewhere. Pippa does not. Pippa has things remarkably under control.
She’s playful and curious, she loves exploring outside with the other dogs, and she’ll happily wander around seeing what everybody is up to. But there’s something unusually chill about this little girl. She doesn’t wake up every morning looking for a felony.
Pippa wakes up looking like she might have coffee and check the weather. She currently spends her days with a whole crew of dogs, coming and going, playing, exploring, and generally enjoying a pretty fantastic puppyhood. She loves having other dogs around and would be very happy with a pup sibling of her own.
And despite those ears suggesting she receives transmissions from neighboring counties, Pippa is not particularly interested in everybody’s business. She has her own.
Sometimes that business is playing with another dog. Sometimes it’s exploring the yard. Sometimes it appears to be lying down with her little paws crossed like she’s waiting for someone to bring over the paperwork.
We absolutely adore her.
She’s sweet. She’s affectionate. She’s funny without trying to be. And she has that rare little puppy personality where you can already see the dog she’s going to become.
Somebody gets to watch her grow up.
They’ll get the walks and adventures. The pup sibling shenanigans. The tiny body somehow taking up an unreasonable amount of the bed. The ears appearing around the corner when somebody opens a snack. The ridiculous nickname that eventually replaces Pippa altogether.
And one day, they’re going to look over at this funny little dog curled up beside them and wonder how there was ever a time when Pippa wasn't there.
She doesn't need to be the biggest personality in the room. She's just the kind of little dog who quietly becomes a very big deal.

What Is a Benefactor Dog or Puppy, and Why Is the Adoption Fee Higher?
Benefactor dogs and puppies are typically specific breed mixes or high-demand rescues who tend to find homes quickly even with a higher adoption fee. These dogs play a special role in our mission.
Their increased fees help cover the costs for dogs who need much more time, care, and resources before they're ready for adoption. Some dogs spend month seven over a year in our care, requiring expensive surgeries, heartworm treatment, behavioral training, or ongoing medical support.
By adopting a Benefactor dog, you're not only giving them a loving home you're also helping to fund the second chance of another dog still waiting for theirs. It's a meaningful way to make a difference beyond just one life.

The Truth About Rescue:
Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and thats the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again.
Adoption isn't about perfection; its about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they're finally home. Thats when youll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you'll realize they were never the only one being rescued.

Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com.
Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
