Shepherd and Siberian Husky Dogs Available for Adoption in Yakima, Washington

ARROW

Shepherd, Siberian Husky
🇺🇸
Yakima, Washington
April 22nd
male, large, adult

DESCRIPTION

Meet Arrow, an almost two-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix with some Retriever in him weighing 90 pounds.

If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you smiling, Arrow is your guy. This massive goofball has a personality as big as he is, and he brings a fun, happy energy wherever he goes. He was adopted as a puppy but returned after developing a habit of chasing cats, so he’s now on the hunt for a cat-free home that can fully embrace everything he has to offer.

Arrow is a big, friendly boy with zero shyness—he loves people and approaches life with pure enthusiasm. He’s the kind of dog who thinks he’s a lap dog despite his size, and honestly, he might just convince you he’s right.

He’s got a great foundation already: Arrow is potty trained, crate trained, and used to sleeping in his crate at night. He’s even graduated puppy classes and knows an impressive list of commands including "sit," "down," "place," "shake," "drop it," and "leave it." He’s not much of a barker, either, which makes him an easygoing companion in the home.

Arrow is still working on his "off" command and can get a little over-enthusiastic at times, but he’s eager to learn and responds well to guidance. One funny quirk—he’s not a fan of rain or getting wet, so don’t expect him to volunteer for puddle-jumping anytime soon.

If you’re ready for a big, lovable, slightly goofy best friend who will keep life fun and full of affection, Arrow is ready to land right in your heart.

This pet is available for adoption on 4.21.26 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.
