Meet Sherman, a five month old Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix weighing 11 pounds.

Sherman is a sweet, scruffy little guy with a heart full of potential. He came to us as part of an "oops" litter when his previous owner was no longer able to care for him and his siblings. It’s been a big transition, and while he can be a little unsure at first, Sherman is already showing his gentle and loving nature.

With his adorable, mixed-breed look, Sherman likely has a little bit of everything in him—and that just makes him all the more special. His scruffy coat will need light grooming and regular brushing to keep him comfortable and looking his best.

Sherman may take a moment to warm up, but with patience and kindness, he’ll quickly start to show his playful and affectionate side. Like all puppies, he will benefit greatly from consistent training and positive reinforcement to help him learn good manners and build confidence. Ongoing socialization is also incredibly important at this stage, helping him become comfortable with new people, environments, and other animals.

Sherman is looking for a home that will give him the time, structure, and love he needs to grow into a confident and happy companion. If you’re ready to help a shy pup come out of his shell, Sherman just might be your perfect match.
