Meet Sabina, a five month old Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix weighing six pounds.

Sabina is one of those pups who quietly steals your heart. She came to us as part of an "oops" litter when her previous owner could no longer care for her and her siblings. While that’s a big change for such a young pup, Sabina is taking it all in stride—she’s sweet, gentle, and just a little unsure of the world around her.

This scruffy little girl likely has a mix of many breeds, which just adds to her unique charm. Her adorable coat will benefit from light grooming and regular brushing to keep her looking and feeling her best.

Sabina may be a bit shy at first, but with patience, love, and encouragement, she’s sure to blossom into a confident and loyal companion. Like all puppies, she will need continued socialization to help her feel comfortable in new environments, around new people, and with other animals. Positive training and consistent routines will also be key in helping her grow into a well-mannered adult dog.
