Nacho Cheese - Pug Dog for Adoption in Gardena, California

Nacho Cheese is about 7 years old and weighs 20 pounds. Last summer, a concerned person noticed that he was being left outside unattended while dealing with several medical issues. They stepped in, took him home, and worked hard to help him heal. When they realized they could not care for him permanently, they brought him to Pug Nation so we could find him a home of his own!

Nacho has a history of ear infections and environmental skin allergies, so he can be a pretty itchy little guy. His future family will need to keep up with regular baths, skin and allergy supplements, and any additional care recommended by their veterinarian. He may also need oral allergy medication to remain comfortable. His skincare routine is not optional, but at least he is very handsome and therefore clearly worth the upkeep.

Aside from his allergies, Nacho Cheese is doing well for his age. He is sweet, gentle, mellow, and deeply appreciative of human attention. His favorite activities include cuddling, receiving back scratches, and looking pleasantly surprised when you continue scratching the exact spot he presented to you.

He also gets along great with other dogs and lived happily with cats in his previous home. Nacho is not looking to become the loudest personality in the household. He would be perfectly content joining a peaceful group, finding the best resting spot, and waiting for someone to notice that his back could use another scratch!

Nacho Cheese is sweet, silly, and an all-around good boy who needs a family willing to keep him comfortable and make him a permanent part of life inside the home.
