Hi, my name is Coco.
I’m a beautiful 15-year-old Pomeranian, and after spending my life knowing the comfort and security of having a family, my world is about to change.
My family has to move into a much smaller apartment that does not allow pets, and sadly, I cannot go with them.
I didn’t do anything wrong.
My family still loves me very much, but sometimes life changes in ways we never expect. Now, at 15 years old, I need to find a new family and a new place to call home.
I'm already spayed, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped.
I live with my family in Beaverton, OR now until 10.25.2026 and will move to Ridgefield, WA to live with my foster family. I can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential family for me.
My adoption fee is $200 US

Here is my story:
I’ll admit, starting over at my age feels a little scary.
I’m not the young girl I once was. My hearing and eyesight have started to fade, and although I’m house-trained, I may occasionally have an accident.
But getting older hasn’t changed the most important thing about me.
I still have an enormous amount of love to give.
I’m a sweet and affectionate little girl who loves being petted, cuddling, and spending time close to the people I trust. I also enjoy being brushed and having my beautiful fluffy coat cared for.
I get along well with other pets and children. Because I’m an older lady, though, I appreciate a calm and gentle environment. I’m happy around children who understand how to respect a senior dog’s space, but I don’t like being chased or cornered.
These days, I don’t need a home filled with excitement.
I need a home filled with kindness.
A soft bed where I can rest.
A peaceful place where I feel safe.
Gentle hands to pet me.
Someone to cuddle beside.
And a person who understands that senior dogs may need a little extra patience but have just as much love to give.
I know that when many people come to Petfinder, they’re looking for a puppy or a young dog with many years ahead of them.
I can’t promise you how many years I have left.
But I can promise you something else.
If you open your heart to me, I will spend whatever time we have together being grateful that when my world changed, someone chose me.
Please don’t look at my age and think my story is almost finished.
Maybe the most beautiful chapter of my life is still waiting to be written.
I’m not asking you to be there for my whole life.
I’m simply hoping someone will be there for the rest of mine.
Could that someone be you?
Love,
Coco
