Hi everyone. My name is Lily.

I'm a beautiful little white fluffy girl, weighing just 12 pounds. I was born on July 24, 2018, and I'm a Jack Russell Terrier/Poodle mix.

I'm already spayed, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and crate trained.

I will travel from north California to Ridgefield, WA to live by the end of October with my foster family. I can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential family for me.

Here is my story:

I have a story to tell you, and I hope you'll stay long enough to hear it.

You see, I used to have everything a little dog could ever dream of.

I had a home.

I had a warm place to sleep.

And most importantly, I had my dad.

He was my whole world.

From the time I was just a tiny puppy, my dad loved me, cared for me, and made me feel like the luckiest little girl alive.

I never had to wonder if I was loved.

I knew.

Every single day.

But this year, something happened that changed my whole world.

My dad passed away.

And suddenly, the person I loved most in this world was gone.

I don't understand why he isn't coming back.

I just know that everything feels different without him.

Now, at 8 years old, I find myself looking for something I never thought I'd need again.

A family.

A home.

Someone to love.

But please don't think I'm a sad little girl all the time.

I still have so much happiness and love inside me!

I'm a friendly, affectionate girl who absolutely adores everyone I meet.

I love other dogs, cats, and even chickens, sheep, and goats! I guess you could say I believe everyone deserves to be my friend.

I'm completely house-trained, I walk beautifully on a leash, and I have wonderful manners.

I also love being close to my humans.

If you're sitting on the couch, I'd love to be beside you.

If you need a cuddle, I'm your girl.

And if you're looking for someone who will happily shower you with affection, I have eight years of practice!

My beautiful white fluffy coat needs regular grooming, but I promise I'm worth every brush and haircut.

I'm already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

I'm ready to find my next home.

I know I can never replace my dad.

And nobody will ever replace the special place he holds in my heart.

But I also know he would want me to be safe, happy, and loved.

So here I am, hoping that somewhere out there is another person who has a little room in their home and a very big space in their heart.

I'm not a tiny puppy anymore.

But I'm not an old girl ready to give up on life either.

I still have adventures to enjoy, kisses to give, and so many cuddles waiting for someone special.

I don't need a perfect home.

I just need someone who will love me as much as my dad did.

Someone who will look at me and say:

"Come here, Lily. You're home now."

I was lucky enough to know what unconditional love feels like.

Now I'm hoping for a second chance to feel it again.
