Hi, my name is Blossom.

I’m a sweet little girl, about 2–3 years old and around 15 pounds Maltese/Yorkie mix, and I’m looking for something I’ve been waiting a long time for—a family of my very own.

I'm already spayed, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and crate trained.

I traveled from South California to Ridgefield, WA to live with my foster family. I can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential family for me.

Here is my story:

I’m a mama dog, and life hasn’t always been easy for me. I’ve learned to be careful and a little shy when I first meet people. I may not be the dog who immediately runs into your arms the first time we meet.

But please don’t mistake my shyness for not wanting to be loved.

Deep inside, I really want that love. I just need a little time to know that I’m safe.

My name is Blossom, and I think it fits me perfectly because that’s exactly what I need the chance to do.

Blossom.

I need someone who won’t rush me. Someone who will sit beside me, speak gently to me, and let me come closer when I’m ready.

Someone who understands that the smallest moments can be the biggest victories for a shy rescue dog—the first time I come to you on my own, the first time I relax beside you, the first time I realize your hand is reaching toward me only to give me love.

And one day, you’ll look at me and realize that the scared little girl you first met has started to bloom.

I’m not looking for a perfect home.

I’m looking for a patient one.

A peaceful home where I can finally put my past behind me and learn what it feels like to belong.
