Hi! My name is Archie.

I’m 2 years old, 52 pounds, and one big, fluffy, all-white Standard Poodle with a whole lot of love waiting for the right family.

People tell me I’m handsome.

I mean... have you seen me?

But I’m hoping my forever family will see something more than my fluffy white coat.

I hope they see ME.

The friendly boy who loves people.

The social guy who enjoys being around other dogs.

The gentle, happy boy who does great with kids.

And most of all, the dog who just wants to belong somewhere.

I'm already neutered, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and crate trained.

I traveled from south California to Ridgefield, WA to live with my foster family. I can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential family for me.

I’m a Standard Poodle, which means there’s quite a bit happening underneath all this fluff!

I’m smart.

I’m curious.

I want to learn.

I want to be involved.

And I want to be part of whatever my family is doing.

I’m not looking for a home where I’m simply the dog who lives there.

I want to be FAMILY.

I want to hear my name when everyone is getting ready to go somewhere.

“Come on, Archie!”

I want walks and adventures.

I want playtime with my doggy friends.

I want someone to teach me new things and tell me what a good boy I am.

I want lazy evenings when absolutely nothing exciting is happening, but I’m happy anyway because I’m with my people.

And at the end of the day, I want to lie down knowing...

This is MY home.

These are MY people.

And nobody is wondering where I belong anymore.

I’m already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

I’m 52 pounds of intelligence, fluff, friendship, and love—and I’m completely ready for the next chapter of my life.

The only thing missing is someone to write it with me.

That means my future family and I have so much life ahead of us.
