Hi everyone! My name is Charlotte, and I’m only 5 months old.

I’m a beautiful Miniature Schnauzer girl with a silky black coat, weighing about 20 pounds, and I have a heart full of love just waiting for someone special.

I'm already spayed, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and crate trained.

I will travel from south California to Ridgefield, WA to live with my foster family by the end of October. I can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential family for me.

Here is my story:

I wish I could tell you how I ended up all alone on the streets of California.

I was just a baby, trying to figure out the world, when I found myself in a high-kill animal shelter.

I didn't understand what was happening.

I didn't know why I was there or whether anyone would come for me.

All I knew was that I wanted someone to love me.

Thankfully, some wonderful people decided my story wasn't going to end there. They rescued me and gave me something every puppy deserves.

A second chance at life.

And now I'm hoping that second chance will lead me straight to YOU!

You see, despite everything I've been through, I haven't lost my love for people or other animals.

Actually, I'm a HUGE LOVE BUG!

I love everyone I meet!

Big dogs? I love them!

Little dogs? Love them too!

Cats? They're my friends!

Kids? Absolutely!

And humans? Oh my goodness, I can't get enough of them!

I have so many cuddles, kisses, and happy moments waiting to share with my future family.

I'm still just a puppy, so I have lots of growing, learning, and exploring ahead of me. I hope my future family will teach me new things, take me on adventures, and help me become the wonderful grown-up girl I know I can be.

I'm already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

But there's one very important thing missing from my life.

A FAMILY.

I don't want to be someone's temporary little girl forever.

I want to have my own bed, my own toys, and someone who smiles when they see me running toward them.

I want to fall asleep knowing that tomorrow I'll wake up in the same loving home.

I want someone to promise me that I'll never have to wonder where I belong again.

I know there are thousands of puppies looking for homes, and maybe I'm just another little black dog in a sea of adorable faces.

But please look into my eyes.
