Those soulful eyes say it all! Meet Benson, an adorable 1 year old Wheaten Terrier mix who weighs about 20 pounds and is pretty much full grown.
Sadly, Benson and his brother Baxter were found dumped, and we truly cannot understand how anyone could leave these sweet boys behind. Despite everything, Benson is incredibly loving and affectionate and is so ready to find a family who will show him what forever really means.
Benson can be a little shy at first while he takes in his new surroundings, but give him a little time and his sweet personality quickly starts to shine. He is never aggressive — he simply likes a moment to figure things out and realize hes safe. Once comfortable, hes playful, affectionate, and loves being near his people. Hell happily follow you around and soak up all the love youre willing to give.
Benson is currently in a foster home with lots of other dogs and is doing really well! Once he gets acclimated, he enjoys playing and being part of the pack. Hes also working hard on house training and crate training and does very well when kept on a consistent, structured schedule. Hes a smart boy who is continuing to make great progress!
There is just something special about Benson. Between those sweet, soulful eyes and his gentle personality, hes the kind of dog you cant help but fall in love with. Benson is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption.
